Why has my Balm or Deodorant formed beads/become gritty?

As you probably know, Taproot Organics only uses food-grade and organic ingredients with no synthetic stabilizers. One of the waxes or oil has separated and resolidified. The fix to this is easy, if your balm has separated, apply heat in the form of a hair dryer for a few seconds to melt it. If your deodorant has separated and it is bothering you (this doesn't affect the product’s efficacy) pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and then reheat for another 10 seconds. This should soften the Clay Deo recipe to the point you can use a spoon handle to stir it up again.

After heating to your desired consistency, pop the item in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes and it will come back together good as new.
